Five Stans Tour: Uzbekistan, KyrgyzstanShort descriptionIn this tour you will see a bit of each country there is to see in Central Asia, including countries Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. This is an ambitious and lengthy tour, covering many countries, landscapes, cultural environments and crossing many borders. You can see a variety of terrains, from Kyzylkum and Karakum deserts, to mountain ridges in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, alpine meadows, mountain lakes, forests and springs. Itinerary Day 1 - Arrival in Tashkent. Sightseeing Tashkent (depending on arrival time) Day 2 - Flight to Urgench (Khiva) and excursions Day 3 - Excursions in Khiva and around. Day 4 - Drive to Dashoguz, Turkmenistan Day 5 - Flight to Ashgbat Day 6,7 - Drive to Merv, excursions Day 7,8 - Drive to Charjou Day 9 - Drive to Bukhara, excursions. Day 10,11 - Drive and full day sightseeing in Samarkand. Day 12 - Drive to Tashkent for a flight to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Day 13 - Excursion in Bishkek and around Day 14 - Drive to Karakol, visit vicinity of Issyk Kul Lake Day 15 - Drive to Tamga Village, excursions. Day 16 - Drive to Bishkek, then flight to Almaty. Day 17 - Excursions in Almaty. Day 18 - Flight or train to Tashkent. End of tour.
